Hey, I have a question...I download a vehicle pack with the els and for some reason all the cars don't work. either the els won't work for that car which don't make since because its an els vehicle pack. when I go to the patch day folder like it says it won't show the files they want me to replace, so I found another vehicle pack that has els and it told me to go to .x64e and I replace the files and most of the cars didn't show up or work. also most of the files in my gta folder or openIV isn't there as well when I follow the install instruction or the video on youtube and I tried everything and search the web and still failed, i'm new to this mods and pc thing and been watching Steve, Jeff, bugs and they inspired me to try it out. so can anyone help me out? I would truly appreciate it

Put the modded vehicle files in patchday16

I'm sorry I'm new to this, and the patchday16 don't have the vehicle replace file either.

Did you install the ELS VCFs correctly by putting them into GTA 5 folder > ELS > pack_default ?

yeah I have, I don't understand how one car work with ELS and the others ELS vehicles don't work and I did it all step by step

You don't need to replace the actual vehicle files for it to work.  Just place the new modded vehicle files into patchday16 and it'll still work.

okay but when I open the recent patchday and look at the vehicle things I don't see the police.yft etc that match the download police.yft etc

That's what I mean.  The files are not in the latest patchday by default.  You can place the modded police.yft, police.ytd, and police_hi.yft IN patchday16 and it'll work flawlessly.

I didn't know you could add files into the openIV, I feel like a complete noob. you guys are so helpful now when I start my youtube channel I won't get  yelled at for using the same car haha. Thank you so much for all your help, next time I need help I know who to come help because youtube don't help as much when it come to the main point etc. but thank you guys so much :)

Ha ha, you're most welcome!  I wasn't angry at you or anything, was just trying to get you to do it so you could verify it did work, lol.  Don't ever hesitate to ask for help, we were all new once and totally get it. :)

Okay, I have another question. I was trying download the gang and turf, jobsv, and so on and they don't work. I put them in the right files and so on but still don't work

I forgot the other mods, but I also couldn't find the uber mod to be a uber as well

You're positive you installed everything correctly and have the requirements the mod lists? The mod was just recently updated, so it should work.  I'd speak with the mod creator for support, as he'll be better suited in this situation - https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/gang-and-turf-mod#comments_tab

 

JobsV is in need of an update, and won't work, I believe.

For the gang turf, your best bet is the mod author.  For JobsV, gonna have to wait until it's updated.
