I have seen many tutorials about how to install els and i have installed els cars but when i press any of the keys to open menus also when i press k or l it doesn't do anything at all. so i was looking through the els files and i found this in the els log document. Can anyone help i have looked through lots of websites and reinstalled els multiple times but it still does the same thing.

Please take a screenshot of your ELS folder, and the pack_default folder.

It appears only the FBI is being registered with ELS.  In your main GTA V directory, open the ELS INI and change MaxActiveVehs to 20.

My FBI slot car was not working before either and when i opened the els.ini it had MaxActiveVehs set to 40

When you press "J", what happens?  Do you hear a beep at all?

Yes i do and it turns on only some of the lights(i know its not supposed to turn on all of the lights but some of the lights that should be on aren't) the only one that works correctly is when i press J 3 times which is full lights

In OpenIV, go to ASI Manager and uninstall ASI Loader and OpenIV.ASI and then click install again to reinstall them. Next, restart your PC, and try loading into the game again and see if that works. If it still not working, please post the ASI log and ELS log files.

Didnt work that sucks... thanks for all the help you have given so far though, here are my ASI and ELS log files  ELS.log    asiloader.log

According to your log, everything is working fine.  The method I posted above has always fixed this for other people.  Do you have ELS.asi and advancedhookv.asi in the main directory?

I do have both in my main directory also none of the keybinds are working like the one that brings up the menu for the lights i tried ctrl, shift, alt and even right ctrl +M and nothing will come up

Can you link to the ELS pack you're trying to use?

Do you mean the car pack or the ELS version? ill link both anyways (im using ELS version 1.05 by the way)

I have the horn binded somewhere else but it would do that if it was still binded to "E" and it does not turn on the ligts and sirens

but it does continually sound the horn?  This means that ELS is working and is being registered, but for some reason is not working properly.

 

Do this method for me again, please.  Make sure you restart your computer, otherwise it won't work.

 

In OpenIV, go to ASI Manager and uninstall ASI Loader and OpenIV.ASI and then click install again to reinstall them. Next, restart your PC, and try loading into the game again and see if that works. If it still not working, please post the ASI log and ELS log files.
