I have verified my games cache and reinstalled it then installed Rage hook and LSPDFR after and it still doesn't seem to work. Also whenever I try to open the console in game for Rage hook it doesn't open, so I think this is a Rage hook issue.  Anyone know any solutions?

I mean, the game doesn't freeze at all?  Please double check you have all the requirements - http://ragepluginhook.net/Requirements.aspx

Well before I watch the video I will say I do meet the requirements because I've used LSPDFR and Rage Hook before.

I don't just mean spec wise, I mean do you have visuals, framework, etc.

Yea.  When I first launched Rage Hook it checked that I had all of them and put the green check mark next to all of them.

You said you're played fine before.  What all have you done since it stopped working?

I remember breaking my game some time ago with mods and then I reinstalled it and had a vanilla copy downloaded and just decided yesterday to play LSPDFR again.

Do me a favor and take a screenshot of your GTA V directory, your plugins folder, and the LSPDFR folder within plugins.

Start Rage like you were going to play.  When the logo opens, click the gear icon in the lower left.  Once the settings open, go to the plugins tab and set LSPD First Response to load on start.  Then try loading into the game.

I've tried that. I've also tried the "load all plugins on startup" option.

Right click RagePluginHook.exe-->properties-->details. What version does it say?

For the console issue, please try this and see if it fixes that and lets you use it.

 

Go to the RagePluginHook Settings ---> Game settings ---> Command line switches check "Force Windowed mode" and "Force DirectX11" then save and launch.  You can change back to full screen once in game.

YOU ARE  A LEGEND! Thank you so much. So I leave the game settings in Rage Hook like that right? How did you know that too?

You're welcome. :)  You can leave the forced directx11, but it doesn't have to stay in windowed.  What I posted normally helps with the Rage console not opening and/or other plugins not opening.  I was wanting to save the Rage console for last just in case it was unrelated, but I'm glad it solved everything else.
