Meta file help

Featured Replies

Hey everyone,

I'm just having trouble with a file i added in to my mods folder, so i download this car that i wanted in my game and it said i needed to put a file called "vehicles.meta" somewhere but me being a bit of an idiot i put it somewhere else thankfully i remembered where i put this file and it was in this location:  GTA V > mods > update > update.rpf > common > data > levels > gta5 >

And ever since i added that file in that specific location my game would load the loading screen then just crash so i know it is this, If someone can give me a copy of there original "vehicles.meta" file in that location it will be much appreciated!

Sorry, sharing files such as vehicles.meta is not allowed.  However, you can go into the vanilla update folder (the same path you described above, just not in the mods folder) and extract the vehicles.meta from there, then go back into the mods-->update path, click edit mode, drag the vehicles.meta from your desktop to overwrite the vehicles.meta you added. Click "edit mode" again and you should be fine to load back in.

I need donations to help fund my food addiction. DM for details 😂
