Ragehook Console not working!

Hi All,

I've got an issue where my ragehook console will not work. If developer mode is enabled, I can use the console, but it is invisible.

No I do not have any overlay services on

Go to the RagePluginHook Settings ---> Game settings ---> Command line switches check "Force Windowed mode" and "Force DirectX11" then save and launch.  You can change back to full screen once in game.

Once you do this you shouldn't need developer mode active anymore.

Thanks for replying!

I tried this solution and did not work. Launched Ragehook as I got to the initial menu on GTA where it proceeded to "load storymode with Rage". When game loaded, There wasn't even a notification telling me Rage/lspdfr had loaded. Here is the screen shots of my RAGE Settings

In your main GTA V directory is commandline.txt.  Open this, delete everything inside, and save.  Then try again.

If nothing, you might be missing a requirement.  Double check you have all these.

I have all of these files installed. I ensured by redownloading them all.

In my commandline.txt I only had something along the lines of "-Direct 11 -Windowed"

Any other ideas?

Did you delete the commandline text and try again?

Yes I did. Just re-launched, I got the Ragehook successfully loaded screen, however, console is still not working at all unless developer mode is on.

In your commandline was -Direct 11, which I think you maybe accidentally checked the wrong thing from my previous instructions.  Try this again, please.

Go to the RagePluginHook Settings ---> Game settings ---> Command line switches check "Force Windowed mode" and "Force DirectX11" then save and launch.  You can change back to full screen once in game.

Yes, It was set like this the first time. I've launched the game with the commandline.txt with "-DX11 -windowed" and i've launched it with commandline empty. The image attached is what the commandline.txt currently has in it

Delete that, save it, and then go do what I instructed, please.

So you want me to go to Ragehook-----> Advanced Settings -----> command switches -----> Force DirectX11?

Because I do not have "Force DIrectX11"

I only have "DirectX 11" with the switch "dx11" As shown in attached

Thats the one I keep checking

I might also add that when I go in to the graphics settings in game, I cannot change direct x version from "DirectX10"

I don't believe you have DirectX11.  Download this, please.

Just a heads up, That link was for a presentation :laugh:

I do have DirectX 11 as shown below through dxdiag.exe

Er, my bad. lol.

 It's definitely a DirectX problem, as the solution I posted above has always worked.

Try making your RagePluginHook.ini file in your GTA V folder look like this

[Miscellaneous]
IsDeveloperModeEnabled=True
PluginTimeoutThreshold=10000
ConsoleKey=F4

Unfortunately, this isn't a permanent solution, but it should fix it.
