How to change vehicle extras

I'm using Captain14's 2015 Tahoe and I'm having difficulties changing the extras via trainer. I know i can dig into vehicles.meta and manually set which extras I want, but I'd rather have the ability to choose which lightbars i want.

 

In the trainer, i'm going to the vehicle compnents menu and selecting the extras with Num5. Yet when i select any extra lightbar any extra that spawned with the car dissapears and i'm left with a slicktop tahoe.

 

Is there an alternate way to select extras in game?

    I could be wrong, but I wasn't aware Captain14's pack had multiple light bars.   You don't have ELS installed, correct?  That is going to conflict heavily with his pack.

    His standalone Tahoe does, and no, there is no VCF for Sheriff2.

    Can you explain it again, please?  What exactly happens?  You switch light bars and all other extras get removed as well?

    When i go to the vehicle component menu and attempt to select a lightbar extra, no lightbar appaears. If the tahoe happened to spawn with a lightbar, it dissapears.

    What slot did you install this vehicle in? Have you previously edited the vehicles.meta or anything for this slot?
