For some odd reason my GTA just stops working in the middle of the loading screen. It was just working fine about an hr ago. The log is below. Thanks for the help:

    I mean in this reply box you see "drag files here to attach, or choose files".  Click "choose files" and navigate to the log. :)  (as opposed to posting the entire log here, which creates unnecessary scrolling)

    You're most welcome. :)

     

    The only problem in your log, which I'm not sure contributes to your CTD (crash to desktop) or not, is that there's an error while loading EMS Mod.dll.  Please temporarily remove this plugin and try again.

    Yeah, unfortunately that wasn't the fix. It worked perfectly fine earlier, but as I was installing and making small adjustments to the "Make Visual Great Again" settings I changed something in visualsettings.dat and ever since then it has been crashing on the loading screen. Even after I used my backups to restore the settings. I may just have to revert to my backup GTA V and start over.

    What adjustments did you make?  You could grab the visualsettings.dat from MVGA and just drag and drop it over, see if that fixes it.

    Just tweaked the headlights, taillights, and reverse lights in the car.defaults. And yeah I tried dropping the default file over it, but nothing seems to work.

    Was that the only thing you edited?  A reinstall might not be necessary if you rename your mods folder to something else, then try and load in and play.  If it works, just redo your mods folder.

    Okay, I found the problem. Somehow the ASI loader in OPENIV is causing the crash. Whenever I uninstall it from OPENIV the game works just fine. I'll have to find a fix on Google or the forums for that problem.
