Highway cop skin not showing

Hey guys,

 

so I had to reinstall my PC and lost all my mods. I went back and modded back all the mods/skins and trainers I have. Everything I had works, but this Oregon State Trooper skin. In Open IV the skin looks fine after replacing all the files correctly, but when I load the game the cop has the default skin on. Any idea what could be the cause? As I said various car skin work fine.

Does any of your modded peds work, or is that the only one?

Seems like it's only that one. I just tried adding random EMS skin and it works flawlessly.

Just to be sure, you did install all the files for the ped, and not just the .ydd, right?

Yes, I put a link in the OP where it shows the complete skin fine in OpenIV.  It's .ydd / .ytd / .ymt / .yft

 

I just tried a random Sheriff skin and that one works too, however that one only contained the .ydd file.

If the ped shows in OIV but not in game, there's a chance you either didn't erase fully over the original files, or there are other files taking precedence.  You're using a mods folder, right?

Well I replaced it multiple times as well as deleted the whole mod folders and did it from scratch :/ Maybe I should delete them and add them instead of using the replace feature in OIV?

Yep.

Replacing them usually works.  Try using a different ped to replace over that slot.

Yeah I thought of doing that after I did the sheriff one. I just hope the face will be the same, since I need that as well, haha. Will try and report back
