Low FPS when using LSPDFR

Featured Replies

Hi guys!

I'm a big fan of LSPDFR but i'm having FPS issues with it, i have a beast PC and when i'm out of duty i have 90-140 fps with maxed out setting and graphics mods but when i get on duty it goes down to 30-50 (even without any graphics mods and lower setting), does anyone have some sort of solution to this?

There is a heavy amount of scripting going on in the background when playing lspdfr. Seeing a little bit of performance loss would be normal, but I wouldn't think you would be losing that much performance. What are your pc specs?

Also, how many plugins do you have running?

I'm not too sure if there is a solution.  You could try and remove all your callouts and see if it makes a difference, which it probably will.  However, then you'll have no callouts except for the ones that come with LSPDFR.  I think the area you're in is also a factor.  On my previous computer, which wasn't gaming friendly, playing LSPDFR in the city always resulted in lower fps.  If I was in Sandy Shores or Paleto, it was slightly better.
