Go into the vehicles.meta, and look for <lodDistance>  Change them all to 500.  Here's how it should look:

I think it's for those vehicles only. I'm craving to texture new city cars so it's now WIp. ;)

It doesn't hurt anything to change the numbers.  Even if you eventually switch out the cars, it doesn't do anything but help to make sure they don't vanish at a distance.

Gonna make textures for the same vehicles, just changed the LOD distance thing. So using the same vehicles.

Which was why I said to change the LOD distance. :)  Even if the mod author doesn't create proper LODs, all you need is to change the LODs in the meta and it's good.

Even works on models fully now loading from 5 feet away. Thanks rourke xD
