Hello I have a problem with the Gamestart. On the left side, a window with the text appears shortly after the download over the map: A Textbox is currently being shown in the center ...... If you cant see it, RPH had an issue initializing with Directx and your RPH console , What can I do about it? I have the latest AMD driver for my graphics card installed and at the RPH start even under Advanced Settings the box disable directx hook clicked without success. Has anyone a tip?

In your main GTA V directory is RagePluginHook.text, please attach (don't post) it to your next reply.  If part of the log is in German, please translate it.

Have just tried again and the Disable Directx under Settings removed but the game freezes as far as a nothing moves except the I can call the Esc button the map.

In your Grand Theft Auto V folder,  open commandline.txt.  In it, you should see -nodx.  Delete this line, save, and try again.

Open Rage.  When the Rage window opens, wait until it starts loading, then click the gear icon in the lower left.  Once the Rage settings is opened, go to game settings-->command line.  Make sure the option to disable DirectX is not checked.

 

HI, was in the settings but the contents of the .txt has changed nothing. Directx is not disabled.

I am having the same issue. Were you able to find a solution? 

I found a solution, if you try running GTA first, then rage after you run gta [through steam or standalone] it fixed my problem! Make sure to run RAGE as an admin!
