The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

How do you guys keep mods separated from Online?

Featured Replies

I know, I know... OpenIV blocks any access to online and shuts down the mods in order to avoid a ban, LSPDFR itself won't transfer to Online nor RagePlugginHook pluggins. But assorted mods like visuals or trainers seem to put players at risk even if its not intended to mod the game Online.

My question is, how do you guys play a modded version of GTA 5 while still having the option of playing Online, knowing you won't be banned for SP mods? I've seen too many cases of people getting banned to consider it bad luck. Online is very touchy... if it even detects a trace of modified files, it will insta-ban you. Which I understand but how can I avoid this. Any reply will be deeply apreciated.

PS: I have Steam Version and yes, already tried a modded launcher. Doesn't work because of the updates.

UPDATE:

So I've been thinking. Since the "mods" folder acts like a safe modifier of the directory itself, I could install my trainer in this folder even if the trainer has to be installed directly in the directory since the "mods" folder is a "modded version of the diretory", let's say it like that.

So installing everything related with assorted mods on this folder and then renaming it with a totally random thing could be enough to disable the mods right? Or just move it, IDK.
Is that possible?

Most people keep two GTA directories, one for mods and one for online.  You can't have mods in the directory at all.  It needs to be 100% vanilla GTA files.

I need donations to help fund my food addiction. DM for details 😂

I tried that but how do I launch the modded directory? I can only acess the game through Steam client. Can't use the launcher on the modded directory. How do you do it since I know you have Steam?

You have to switch the directories.  When you want to play online, have the online directory as your main GTA directory. When you want modded, move the online one somewhere else.  Some folks use an external hard drive for that.
