Advice Requested - Mod Folder

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Hopefully I have the right place for posting this. I  just updated my OIV/RagePluginHook/Scripthook to be up to date since that whole "OIV is going to be shut down" fiasco, and my game is launching just fine but my models are all jacked up. The vehicle models spawn as if they are the base models but with my modded police vehicles' paint jobs over them and my character models from the EUP menu just sort of randomize civilian clothes, if that makes sense.

I'm guessing I have to redo my mods folder since OIV updated and altered things, but I'm not sure how to go about it this time without having to just redo everything. It is still installed but with no effect.  I have Albo's Modding DLC pack which contains most of my model and texture replacements and such. Is there an easier way to restore my mods folder to make it all work again?

I left OpenIV on my computer throughout the ordeal, and my game hasn't been affected at all by OpenIV's updates.  My guess is that it's Albo's modding DLC causing problems. I just helped someone either today or yesterday whose issue was caused by Albo's modding DLC.

Interesting, thanks for the reply! I had no prior issues using his modding DLC folder initially, only after the updates, so perhaps I just need to move the mods out from the DLC folder and install them the traditional way. I'll give it a go, though if any other solutions come up I'd be happy to hear them. Thanks!
