The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

Really need help guys, I can't uninstall gta V

Featured Replies

I fucked up my mods, and when trying to play around with them I broke my GTA somehow. I bit the bullet and deleted all mods (including LSPDFR) I could from the GTA directory, and updated to the latest version of GTA and Rage Hook. This got my game working again, with zero mods running.

That being said, some files I could not delete. Even though I am an administrator and the ONLY user, it says I need permission from the "Administrator to delete this file".  I can delete individual files, but not folders. I deleted the .dll files and figured I'd be alright if there was some useless audio files stuck in my directory.

Apparently this is an issue with a lot of people, and EVERY FUCKING QUESTION goes the same way.

OP           "I can't delete this file even though I'm an admin. Please help."

Person1 "Go change the permissions, like this...."

OP            "Doesn't work"

Person1  "Oh man that sucks, idk"

Person2  "I am having this problem too, please help"

*End of topic from 2014....*

So anyway, I now try and install LSPDFR again, and it says I'm missing all these files. Like, every single file apparently...great

So I'm like, fuck it, scrap all of it and start over. I uninstall GTA V from steam, and everything is still in the freakin GTA V directory. Now it'd be fine if I could just delete the whole damn directory, but I can't with the stupid permissions issue!!!

FUCK! This is so frustrating. Windows 10 btw...if it counts for anything.

Hi jim, have you tried deleting every file in the GTA V directory? this may include uninstalling LSPDFR and all its features. If not maybe try doing that and then try uninstalling via steam again. Best of the luck!

Thanks bro. I ended up booting my computer in safe mode and was able to delete the directory that way. Reinstalling gta now.
