I have full system compatibility and I tell it to install everything except the "xliveless ASI loader". In "Configure LCPD First Response" I have hardcore mode disabled and callouts enabled. In "lcpdfr.com login" I enter my correct username and password. I then get a summary dialogue. Then it says "Installation Failed"

Before I get the "Installation Failed" message a popup wondow appears with a headline of "FirstResponse.ini already exists! Are you sure you want to override your configuration? Choose "yes" unless you know what you are doing.

Thats the same error the video covers for, its related to installing the taser. Run the installer as admin, make sure GTA isnt readonly. follow the video 100% and you wont see that.

I followed the video completely, I will uninstall GTA IV and re-install it.

Do a diagnostic report anyway to make sure you have all the other pre-reqs and game requirements. It could be possibly relate to your game version

But really, did you actually go in an turn off read-only for your gta files?

Yes I turned off read-only and patched my game with the newest version.

When I turn off read-only it changes attributes then I leave the properties window the open the properties window and read-only is ticked again. Why does it go back to read only ???
