AI Stupid on siren change during pursuit

Hey,

Whenever I am in a pursuit with AI and change my siren, they go fully retarded and start crashing into everything  without making a single turn, just straight.  It's kind of hard when I'm trying to make a video.  Anybody know why they do this?
