Siren wont change

so i have a siren pack and i wanted to add some new ones because the one i chose is annoying and when i do it i save it and what not with spark IV but when in game the sirens stays the same what gives :( i tryed like 17 different ones all the same D:

You can open the horns file with ivaud.

Sounds like you are not properly importing the horns file to resident and rebuild then save. Go through this process exactly.

Also, don't double post, it's looked down upon around here...

-_- the problem is importing the file back into resident file... not edit the ivaud file...

ah ok. Then it`s beyond my expertice.

all i can think of is do you mark the HORNS.ivaud file before importing the edited ivaud file?

Well heres the thing i use a sirens pack... and they were working but all of sudden stopped working... which is werid and it shows it in the resident file that the siren is there!!

hmm. Do you hear like the start of your siren and then suddenly it changes to weird noises like radio interference noises? if so you must download a program called audiocity (i think its called) and cut it. The sound files must be maximum 6 seconds for siren_1 and 0.whatever on siren_2 as far as i know. If thats not the problem then i have absolutely no idea on how to fix it.

Yes. If i look in the file i can play the sirens which is what is modified i save and close go into game its the default sirens which i guess isnt a big deal but is quite annoying since i use to be able to do it before!!!
