I'm starting the game and everything loads just fine (except the ragehook console doesnt show up when i press F4 instead it just freezes the game and in order to unfreeze it i must press ESC)

Now sometimes few of the things belows happens:

1. The map shows me the police station icons but when I'm trying to go on duty it doesnt let me, it doesnt ever display to press E.

2. After restarting the game and messing with ragehook a bit it does load lspdfr correctly (and all the plugins) but after i go on duty, choose a character and a vehicle it just freezes my game at the middle of the street.

 

I've searched this problem on google but I couldn't find a solution that worked for me.

I don't wanna sound like a mean person but im glad im not the only one who have's it too XD

I had the exact same problem and couldn't seem to find any solution. I've gone in to the RageHook config into the Advanced Settings Tab and Checked the Disabled DirectX Hook and launched game then closed the game then unchecked the DirectX Hook and it worked for me.

yesterday i did that and it worked, but now it doesn't i really don't get it.
Thats super weird

Ok, if you are one of those people who had the mod working before the Creators update and now it is crashing or not letting you go on duty, etc..  TRY THIS:

 

Go into your Windows settings and click on the gaming option.

 

On the first tab called Game Bar, uncheck/turn everything off.

On the Game DVR, do the same thing by unchecking/turning everything off except for the last option of Capture your mouse cursor while recording.

 

That should fix it. If it doesn't, then the issue could be something else
