How would one proceed if you want a specific car made for LSPDFR? I've read some places that you can by a model and perhaps someone will mod it for LSPDFR for you. Is this correct? And if so how to proceed?

 

Also is there any way to learn to do this yourself? I've got some background in programming and modding for other games. None for modelling though

You can purchase a model from a site like humster3d or turbosquid, then ask someone to 'convert' it to GTA for you.

First say which car you're looking for. Second, don't buy off Humster (Dumpster) unless you or someone else is prepared to do some big time poly crunching and scratch modelling. Don't waste money on crappy models. What is it you're looking for?

I'm not quite sure yet. But I would love some unmarked European model like an Audi, BMW or maybe even Volvo. Like 2016 audi Q7 or 2017 Volvo S90. Really like the look of this one: https://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/2017-s90-3d-model/994570

That S90 would need lowering quite a bit.

That wouldn't need lowering for ingame, you just need someone to convert it.
