ELS Not Activating/Appearing

Featured Replies

I just installed a fresh copy of GTA V then the latest RageHook, LSPDFR, and ELS in that order. LSPDFR loads and everything works great except for ELS. I've installed two ELS-enabled cars and the appropriate xml files in the pack_default folder. I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the openIV.asi and ASI Loader through OpenIV and restarting my PC with no luck. I get no beep when I press Scroll Lock (or even if I reassign the key lock to another key), no info panel with Ctrl-U (modified to bypass pause menu) and nothing when pressing the J, K, or L keys.

Anything I may have missed?

Drag and drop the 4 Files (ELS, AdvancedHookV.dll, ELS.asi, ELS.ini) into your Grand Theft Auto V Directory. This will install ELS into GTA V. Then go in game, to an ELS enabled vehicle, and press J, K and L as many times as it takes to satisfy you. :)

I appreciate the tips, but I did place all the required files in the GTA V directory, and the cars I have are in fact ELS enabled.

Do you have ScriptHookV installed?

I did not. Installing that and replacing the dinput8.dll I had with the older one it included seemed to fix it. Of course it fixes it 20 minutes before I have to go to bed for work in the morning!

Thank you very much!

Ha ha, at least it's working though.

You're welcome.
