I've tried searching this problem out, but I keep coming up empty aside from a post about gangs attacking. That is not what my problem is (I don't think anyway.)

The problem is any time I point my gun at anyone, whether its an already flagged suspect, an uncooperative person, or just even an accidental pointing at a random ped, EVERYONE starts attacking me and all of my backup officers. It turns into a massive pile of cars and bodies. It doesn't matter where I am, how I'm dressed or as what character I start as. Surely this is some kind of bug? I would do a reinstall, but it's a large download on limited bandwidth, so if this is a fixable issue, I would like to try that first. I've reinstalled all of the hooks, LSPDFR, and all of the plugins, but it still persists. The only mod that makes it stop is "Keep Calm" but then everyone is walking around like zombies. Last night's final mass casualty incident was when I decided to reach out for assistance (see attached photo.) It was a traffic stop, turned short pursuit but when the driver was ordered out at gunpoint, everyone in or entering the area started an assault.

It is common for some not involved peds to run at you when you point a gun, but not everyone.    Please list all your plugins.

And all of the related required files for those mods. Also, it may  or may not be related, but rarely will a vehicle actually stop during a traffic stop. They initially stop, then as soon as I get to the door (or just wait in the car a few seconds) they will continue driving like normal (not pursuit.)

Some of those I've never heard of, but most don't seem to be the culprit.  How long has this been an issue?  Did you add anything prior to when the issue started?

The only thing that comes to mind was RDE. But I also added Realistic Driving, realistic melee damage and "Stop S&*#@ing Bricks" at the same time. Something conflicted, so I removed them all, deleted my mods folder contents, reinstalled RDE (That's when I first noticed the issue of massive ped attacks.) Then I removed ALL of the mods including plugins and hooks (which should have restored me to a clean install I would have hoped) then reinstalled the list above, which didn't solve anything. Keep Calm pacifies everyone, but to the point of ruining the immersion, so I would like to find the actual problem. My best guess is RDE or Realistic Driving installed something in my main files somewhere instead of keeping it all in the mods folder, as the rest were manually installed.

Oh, I should also mention I did redownload my Update.rtf file from Steam after removing RDE the second time.

My guess is RDE.  I have never used it, so I unfortunately cannot offer much help there.

If I knew exactly which files might be affected, I could avoid an entire download, but I would say I will have to just start fresh. Thanks for trying though.

I finally tracked it down after a reinstall. It was Entity Persistence. I'm going to find the thread for it and let the author know.

Interesting.  I never would've guessed that was the culprit since AI aggression isn't even its function.

Yeah it's definitely odd. Hopefully the author will have some insight into what the issue could be. I wonder if when it takes control of an entity, the entity loses whatever behavior had been assigned? It would explain the car stop issue which apparently was also being caused by it, but I'm still at a loss on the peds.

I've used entity Persistence for years, never had this problem. Pretty sure you're on the wrong trail.

Clean install. Went through all mods one at a time. As soon as it was gone, peds went to normal behavior and cars started staying stopped again. It may not be this mod, but removing it solved the issue. The new list is:

EUP and EUP Menu

Foot pursuit aid

Spike Strips

Spotlight

Lefix Speedometer and Simple Fuel

Muted Speech and Pain (reduces the over the top string of constant cussing)

LSPDFR Menu

LSPDFR+

Arrest Manager

Arrest Warrant callouts

Automatic Roadblocks

Code Red Callouts

Fresh install. With EP, above-described problems. Without it, back to normal. If you have an idea on which one could be conflicting with it to cause the issue, I would love to hear it. I hate returning from a foot pursuit to find everything disappeared, but it's a better alternative to being jumped by large mobs on every call.
