Controller causing hard crashes?

Featured Replies

I use a Thrustmaster GPX Xbox 360 controller that has worked flawlessly for every game.  Every so often, I'm getting random hard crashes.  When I start the game back up (via Rage), it'll crash, either on "loading and populating game world", or when it's loading the plugins.  Rage log says nothing about the crashes.  Remove my controller, try again, and I load in fine.

Once I'm in game, I can plug the controller in and it's all good.  It works, and doesn't crash.  I'm really at a loss as to why the controller seems to be the issue.  Any ideas?

Note:  For those unfamiliar, this controller is just a plug 'n play.  No console/control panel for it.

I need donations to help fund my food addiction. DM for details 😂
