When ever I launch via RPH it crashes before it ever loads. This issue is completely out of the blue as the last time I played it was all fine.  Nothing since then has been changed either. The game launches fine without RPH.  I've also seen another thread that is describing a similar issue so I'm not sure what exactly is going on here? Seems a little odd. The RPH log isn't much help either

UPDATE: Found the issue. If you use AVAST it is the new update that is causing it. You MUST add the GTA V as an exclusion. Open avast then go General and scroll down to Exclusions and add your enite Grand Theft Auto V directory as an exclusion.

Open Rage, but go into the settings. Go into the Advanced Settings and see if the Disable DirectX Hook option is enabled, if it is, disable it.

Sorted it out mate. It was the latest Avast update. We might need to get a mod or something to make a sticky in regards to it as Avast is a pretty popular AV so we'll get a lot of posts here in regards to crashes at start up.
