Hey.

 

I want to have more police cars in my game. If i want to have a sheriff3 car, i have put it in patch13, copy the sheriff meta in vehicles.meta and pate it, rename it to sheriff3.

 

But in the game when i spawn sheriff3, it says invaild model.

 

Can anyone help me? Thanks.

Don't use the patchdays for add on cars.  Use the DLCs such as mpchristmas2.

This is how I do my add on cars:

 

Rename all .ytd's and .ytf's to whatever (sheriff3), and place them in Patchday11 (Easiest for me)

Then I go to mpvalentines2, and install the carvariations.meta and vehicles.meta. Make sure that in the vehicles.meta, the first 2 text lines (http://prntscr.com/edtd0v) are the name of the car (sheriff3), and make sure the name of the car in the carvariations.meta is also the same.

 

I have done it that way for the past few months and have had no issues.

Meta - mods-->update-->x64-->dlcpacks-->dlc here-->dlc-->common-->data-->levels-->gta 5

 

Carvar - mods-->update-->x64-->dlcpacks-->dlc here-->dlc-->common-->data

 

Car files - mods-->update-->x64-->dlcpacks-->dlc here-->dlc-->x64-->levels-->gta 5-->vehicles-->xmas2vehicles.rpf

Just adding, I strongly advis to just use dlcs for add on cars.  Patchdays aren't the best place for them.  It's so much easier to use dlcs anyway.
