GTA crashing when runing RagePluginHook

Featured Replies

Hello!

I'm having problems with RageHookPlugin. GTA runs fine when I launch it via Steam without RageHookPlugin, but when I try to launch it with RagePluginHook it crashes. I have posted this problem on the RagePluginHook forum but I don't get any help from there. The antivirus software is disabled (I'm using Avast Antivirus) and I'm runing the lastest version of GTA, v994.2, and the latest RagePluginHook version, 0.50.1044.10171. RagePluginHook says my game version is supported.

I have no mods, plugins, shaders etc. installed. I have a fresh copy of GTA (never modded).

I have also attached a video of the game crashing.

Thanks for your time!

SOLVED:   It was a compatibility mode issue. I'm running windows 10, had to set compatibility mode to windows 8 for both Ragehook.exe and GTAV Launcher.exE. Thanks to this post on the forum I solved the problem:
