Hello all

 

I am having a few issues, but this one gets me the most.  This is where, on a traffic stop, when I pull a driver out of the car.  When I pull the driver out of the car using the LSPDFR+ selector menu, what happens is I can no longer interact with him.  It is as if the driver converts to a Ped.  And what happens is, I have to hold down E in order to reacquire him, but now I have him as a Ped (officer yells out "LSPD, Get on the ground".  So anything I do, breathalizer, citation, warning, etc, the Driver will NOT return to his/her vehicle and is treated like Ped; it'll just walk away in the middle of the damn highway once I give a citation or warning instead of getting back in the car and driving off.

 

Interestingly enough I don't have this issue when ordering the passenger(s) out of the car, I can interact with them just fine when they get out.

 

Has anyone seen this?  Do you guys think this is an LSPDFR+/Traffic Policer?

I could be wrong, but I believe this is normal behavior.  Though, it is random.  Of all the times I've asked someone to step out of their vehicle, I have had to stop them again with E.  You're right about one thing - when you get them out of the car, their AI changes.  They are no longer the driver of said car. They are now a pedestrian.   Yet, at the same time,  if I get someone out of the car, and have their vehicle towed, they will try and get back into it if not placed under arrest.

Exactly.  But my guess is LSPDFR+ is conflicting with TP.  Because when I call for a tow with the Radio while INSIDE the cruiser, it gives a kickback saying "You must remove the driver first" so obviously the mods aren't talking to each other.  Maybe someone with a good handle on multiple mods can weigh in, maybe there needs to be some reinstalls?

You can't call for a tow truck while inside your vehicle.  The system thinks you are calling a tow truck for your own car.  You have to be standing beside the vehicle you want towed.

Ok that makes sense.  So then should I just remove LSPDFR+ to fix this?  Or do you really think there's a fix for this?

I'm sorry, to fix what, exactly?  You've never been able to call for a tow truck from within your vehicle.  You can call for PT [prisoner transport] from inside it, but not a tow truck.

No no I mean to correct the driver converting into a Ped issue when you pull him out.

You could try removing LSPDFR+, but it is a very helpful mod.  To combat this, you could just breathalyze and ask questions while they are in the vehicle.  Only pull them out if it's necessary.  It's unfortunate, I know, some people love that realism of getting them out of the car for certain things, but it's still GTA.  Not much you can do.
