Traffic Stop

Hello,

I have a small problem with LSPDFR. I would like to pull vehicles out of circulation or stop them. However, this does not work.
I activate the Lightbar and then press LShift as described in the description. But the vehicle does not run right and ignores me.

How can I fix this? Thanks in advance

Hi there.

Have you gone on duty via RAGE?  If not, press F4 and type "ForceDuty" and press enter.

Hi,

I tried this but without success. The vehicle did not respond and did not turn right

Just to verify, you can go on duty, right?  When you type force duty, LSPDFR loads up?

Yes I can go on duty and I get also emergency calls and assignments. This I can accept and terminate without problems.

The only thing that does not work are the traffic stops

Make sure you're very close to the car.  You kinda have to be right on the car's butt in order to blip it.  Try pressing shift first, and then turning on your lights.

Unfortunately does not work
I have sometimes made a screenshot where you can see how I position myself at the vehicle to stop it

Do you have a non ELS car you can attempt this with?

Yes I have a non ELS car. Again, it does not work.
I have also removed ELS times from the GTAV folder. Also that did not help

Out of curiosity, when you walk up to a pedestrian and hold E, does it let you stop and question them?

Yes, it works.

Assuming ELS is still removed from your game, only thing I can think of is that it's something with your vehicles..though if it happens with vanilla cars, I'm not sure.  What all have you modded in terms of vehicles?

I just have this one black and white as you have seen above. The others are still all GTA originals

Try using one of them.  There's really no reason at all traffic stops shouldn't be working if everything else is.

Excuse me for the late reply.

It does not work on all vehicles.

I'm unfortunately at a loss as to what to tell you.  It makes no sense traffic stops wouldn't work when everything else does.
