Multiple Livery Issue

Featured Replies

I've replaced several vehicles in my game (police, police2, police3, police4, sheriff, sheriff2). I'm using two separate texture packs for them, made by separate individuals, but all working for the same models. Each vehicle has 4 textures of one pack, and 4 of the other. My issue is that the only vehicle all 8 show up on, is the vehicle in the police slot. The other five models spawn properly, and will display the first 4 textures...but not the last 4 (4/8 on each vehicle). I've gone through all the vehicles.meta files and checked to make sure all vehicles have the FLAG_HAS_LIVERY flag. All of the textures are in the yft files correctly. Any input on why they might not be working? All are 2K files. Thanks in advance!

I am pretty sure that some vehicles have limitations to multiple liveries.  Why would you want 8 different textures in one vehicle?  I don't even use multiple liveries to keep the file size down to avoid issues in-game (I've had some before).  I would recommend using 2 textures for police, police2, and police3 and using 2 different textures for sheriff and sheriff2.

If I'm reading your post correctly, you have 8 textures (2 different packs) in each vehicle.  Why?

I don't really have a reason why, I suppose. They each came with 4, so I was installing them all. The idea that there may be some sort of restriction on how many you can put into a slot didn't occur to me though. I don't really impose limits on what I put in the game because I have a powerhouse of a computer, so FPS issues and lag are a non-issue 99% of the time. I'll try taking several textures out and see what happens though!
