Rage Plugin - missing Visual C++ components although they are installed

Featured Replies

Hello,

I tried to install the Rage Plugin (.49) several times now, it still doesn't work.

When I try to install the Plugin, it stops at the requirements list, the three Visial C++ components are missing, everything else is there.

The problem is, I already installed them in the past and also repaired and reinstalled them now a few times, using the "open link in browser" button in this requirements list or using the links on the Rage Plugin webpage. So it should actually be fine, but the installer still does not recognize Visual C++ somehow..

My system:

Win10 (64)

latest patch of GTA V (import&export), legal, not steam version

Latest Script Hook & Script Hook dot net

I remember trying it, when I had Win8.1 a few months back, I think I had the same problem, but with an older version.

I could not find any forum dealing with the same problem, I hope, you can help me.

Another small thing.. This requirements list from the installation is too big for my screen, although its an 13xx:786, I can't move it that much up so I can reach the buttons to ignore and close at the bottom of the window. I can only reach them by using the second screen as "below" the main screen. Its kind of weird to always switch between the screens..

I know they release x86 and x64 version of the Runtime's (C++ Components), verify you're installing the correct ones for x64.
