I'm using this template to make my simple police car . But seem like IDK how to replace  and I'm doing it wrong or not .

What file location I need to replace with these texture . Thank you .

// Sorry for my bad English .

Go into the most recent patchday for police (assuming that is the vehicle you're placing), and navigate to vehicles.rpf (mods-->update-->x64-->dlcpacks-->latest dlcpack-->dlc-->x64-->levels-->gta5-->vehicles.  Click on the "edit" button at the top.  Find the vehicle you want to add that template to, and double click on the .ytd.  When it opens, scroll down till you find CVPI_SIGN_1 (or something similar).  Now, edit the name of your PNG image to the same thing as I just said (or whatever the name is). Drag and drop and it should be changed.

I advise you back up the original vehicle texture.

I believe the sheriff car is in patchday 1.  If not, check patchday 2 or 3.

Whetever the name is in the .ytd is what the png should be.  It'll either be CVPI_SIGN_1 or police_sign_1.

police_sign_1 is what you want the PNG to be. :)  You'll need to change the texture in patchday 3.

Is the image you're using one that is saved onto your computer?

Yes , I'm back up all the original files .

But the texture looks mess up . I really don't understand about editing texture for vehicle too much . I think because I'm using the template in the wrong ways or something.

It appears as that is the case.  Unfortunately, I have not tried to make/edit vehicle textures, so I can't offer more assistance in that department.

Sometimes, a simple research made with your little fingers on your little keyboard can be the answer to all your problems, you should consider investing a bit of yourself if you plan to solve your problems, my friend :)
