Hello!

I'm new at LSPDFR.

I have updated POLICE2 to Final Gold Lamborghini Police v3 (Its happening whit all cars)

But when i'm spawning the car ingame its just spawning the old car? (The original POLICE2)

I have been following alot of guides but i cannot get it to work,

What patchday are you putting the vehicle in? I suggest putting it in your latest patchday, which should be patchday12ng. Did it come with vehicles.meta or carvariations.meta? Where are you putting those in if it did come with them? I suggest putting those into mpvalentines2.

Ohhh... I did put it in Patchday3, shuld i put it in Patchday12?

 

It did not come with vehicles.meta or carvariations.meta

Did you replace a previous police2 model in any of the x64's? I think if you did, thats most likely the issue

Okay. I usually never mess with putting cars in the x64's because when i put them in the latest patchday, they work.

Dont extract anything. You're using a mods folder, so if they corrupt, you can go into the vanilla update and get the vanilla cars, so ignore those steps. Do this:

Go into x64e, vehicles.rpf like it says, and drag and drop the new police2 into there. Do the same in patchday12ng, just to be safe. That should work. Hopefully... I dont deal with x64's, like i said. Also, drag and drop the handling.meta into the spot it says. Dont back it up.

(like i said. If doing any of these steps causing anything to break/corrupt, simply go into the gta v directory, and go into update, instead of mods>update, and drag the vanilla file to replace the modded file)

I dont know if i have done it right. But i have tryed to copy the "Car files" in all patchday folders, but i will not load the car? Its just spawning the original car

I dont understand. You put the modded car file in all the patchdays? 

This is why i dont mess with x64 stuff. It never ends well. I have no clue what else to do if it isnt spawning. Just make sure you are placing the modded files in x64e and patchday12ng. 

Also, after replacing the files with the modded car, double tap on police2.ytf. Does the modded car come up, or the vanilla?

Also, and this is a n00b error i cant believe i didnt think of earlier... Are you in Edit mode?

Yes i am in edit mode.

When i dubble tap on the Police2.ytf the modded car shows up.

 

Can i install cars without put it in x64e?

Yes, you can. Usually i dont touch the x64's. I usually never follow the normal directions to installing vehicles. This is how i install vehicles:

Cars: Open IV > Edit Mode > Mods > update > x64 > patchday11ng > dlc.rpf > x64 > levels > gta5 > vehicles.rpf , drag and drop. No exporting/importing. Drag the files from the download file into Open IV.

Carvariations/Vehicles.meta: Open IV > Edit Mode > Mods > update > x64 > mpvalentines2 > dlc.rpf > common > data > (For carvariations.meta, i open the modded one, copy the car i am adding, paste it into the corresponding spot in the mpvalentines2 carvariations. Go on youtube to learn how to edit carvariations files) > levels > gta5 > (vehicles.meta, same thing as carvariations.meta. Youtube will tell you better than i can type it)

I honestly have no idea what to do then. Sorry.. try putting in the vanilla x64 file and then only putting police2 into patchday 11. If that doesnt work, i unfortunately dont know what else to say.

I will try to remove my mods folder and create the mods folder again, thanks for your help at all
