I barely even get to start the loading screen before I crash. Here is the crash report.

Does the game window stay black until it freezes/becomes unresponsive?  If yes, just restart your computer.  I just had this happen to me a little bit ago.

Nope, it is loading like normal for maybe 10 to 15 seconds, then it just closes and says GTA V is not responding, and gives me a crash report. No freezing

Are all your drivers up to date?

I just updated my GPU, everythings good, however it still crashed, this time, I didn't even make it to the loading screen before it closed.

I just noticed something, my RPH say's that I am active on Patch 877, however when I start the game and get on the loading part, it says I am on 791. That may be causing the problem? I am also updated to the new RPH update.

That's strange.  Could be the issue, I'm not too sure.    I assume everything in your game is up to date?

Ok Like I said before Ive had this problem and I wanted to smash my pc. Step By Step Directions to Fix.

Launch Gta Via PlayGta5.exe or gta5.exe or gta5launcher.exe Anything that is not Rage hook launch it by.

Then when you are Fully loaded like your charecter is there and your walking around THEN and ONLY then can you launch rage hook and you should be fine.

 

Please tell if it worked

 

@SDRazorblade123  Back up your vehicles and any other things you may have in your mods folder that you want to keep.  Delete your mods folder, and remake it (patchdays included).  Launch GTA V via RPH and verify it will launch.  If it does, proceed to re add your textures/vehicles.

You can trust me, all the ragehook is, is the hook. So what rage hook does when you launch it is it launches GTA v then hooks it. But by launching GTA v normally first and let it loading you can open rage hook to hook the process its just sometimes GTA V can't take being launched and hooked at the same time.

Ok, I redownloaded GTA V, and everything LSPDFR related was deleted. I started GTA normally without any mods, it started fine. I decided to go on ahead and get my RPH and LSPDFR back and downloaded without any ped, car mods, or plugins. That worked and launched. I downloaded EUP, it launched, however, once I downloaded Captain 14s new pack, it crashed the same way it did before. Although, before I redownloaded GTA, I didn't have Captain 14s pack. It seems like the problem may be modding cars. I don't know a solution.

Back up your mods folder.  Delete it, and remake.  There seems to be an issue with the very first mods folder.

 

Also, is Captain14's pack the only modded cars you have?

I just deleted it, put the patch days and mp packs and everything in my new mods folder, put EUP, and Captain14s cars in the mods folder, and still crashed. I don't understand it. And yes, Captain14s pack is the only modded car pack I have in Open IV as of now.

Try launching GTA V normally.  Does it still happen?
