So when  I installed some vehicle mods, the els looked like the lightbar had no leds and just paper changing colors. Here are some pics comparing modded cars to vanilla cars.

Make sure you're PostFX setting is on high, as well as you're using RadianceV.

I have radiancev but I can try and reinstall and postfx is on ultra

The only time I've seen ELS models act/look poorly is if your settings are on low.  Are you using any carcols?

@bustincakes5555 This is because the vanilla cars use coronas. The car mod you have does not use coronas. Coronas are giving the lighting effect. Being that 99% of the time, the models are locked for whatever bull crap reason, edit the visualsettings.dat. I'd recommend this mod.

The 'bull crap reason' is so no one can rip parts from your model and use them on their model without permission or upload the part as a DEV claiming that they made it

Yes, I understand that, yet everybody just locks all of their models nowadays. Their own parts or not, it's fucking stupid. Let me slap together a CVPI model with a bunch of parts I found in the DEV section and lock it. It's stupid. Yet, I don't see why people care about their own parts, though. People use it, somebody "steals it", you have proof that it's yours, everybody knows it belongs to you. It's not like it's stolen and never found, anybody who steals parts will just blatantly re-upload it to some crappy "mod" site. Same as uploading somebody's car mod, except that's a whole car. If the entire community was "open" in the first place, we wouldn't have any of this drama.
