RPH Crash on Senora Freeway

Featured Replies

So in the past few hours I've come across a problem that is becoming quite frustrating. Every time I get onto the Senora Freeway from the entrance by Bolingbroke Penitentiary I make it about 50 yards onto the freeway and then the game crashes for no apparent reason. This has never happened to me before as I frequently patrol the freeway. In-fact, I was just patrolling it about 4-5 hours ago and have only installed one mod since. This is the only thing that I suspect could be causing the problem; "Improved Trains", a modification that enhances the default GTA V trains. I've used this mod in the past and have had no problems since so what has changed? Or is this even something that could cause a crash? Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated.

(If helpful) My visuals:

  • VisualV
  • RadianceV
  • LA Roads
  • LA Roads Patch
  • Environmental Emergency Lighting

Any mod, vehicle or plugin, is subject to cause a crash if there's some type of issue with the model or code.  Unfortunately, the only bit of advice I can offer is to temporarily remove the "improved trains" and test it out.  However, if you patrol in the city around the Davis area and don't crash (Davis has track line near it), then I'd imagine that mod isn't the cause.

Well it's for sure not the improved trains modification, I was able to drive around the Davis track line and even climb aboard the train and had no problems. I've also narrowed it down to one particular spot on the freeway, which leads me to believe that there is a corrupted road file I may have accidentally replaced for "LA Roads". I'll re-install LA Roads and LA Roads patch to see if this fixes the problem. Thanks for the feedback as well.

Update: The creators of LA Roads patch have just recently updated the file as others have begun to have the same problem, this should be fixed now.
