A very powerful earthquake has struck in Central Italy. At the moment 10 deads are confirmed. Army and firefighters are doing their best, 3 people were found alive others are still missing.

A little town has been completely destroyed. The earthquake struck at 3 am (Italy time zone). The town of Amatrice is in ruins.

I was in the Marche while it happened, two earthquakes, one at 3:38 and another an hour later.

I have a lot of family in the Abruzzo region. Hope the search and rescue efforts are going well.

Yes firefighters,EMS, park rangers and all LEO agencies are doing their best.They have saved aroud 215 people but the quake caused the loss of 250 lives.

At the moment they are looking for missing persons, some of them are tourists.
