I've got several vehicles in game that I want to change the skins but I'm not really sure how to rebuild the ytd files in OpenIV.

I've also got questions regarding the dds format and MIPMAP implementation and how it affects whether or not a vehicle wil show in game.

 

Million Questions and I've googled but many I find are advanced tutorials or don't really explain the process if extracting the ytd archives or how to rebuild them once your textures are done.

 

I need a simple start to finish tutorial for doing this.
