Game crashes on startup

Featured Replies

Hi, I've tried to fix this problem every day for some weeks now, reinstalled GTA about 20 times but it still does not seem to work, i have tried the manualy instalation and the automatic one, the old and the newest ragehook version, and nothing works. When i click the ragehook icon on my desktop it lauches as it should, but it crashes after the Rocksatr logo is shown, and i can hear a rapid beeping noice for about 2 seconds.

About a year ago i did play LSPDFR pretty often, but the game crashed after i spawned to many helicopters in a highspeed pursuit, and the same message as i recieved then keeps popping up on my screen now and it says that "windows is trying to fix the problem" and then i can choose between "try again" or press the cross in the right hand corner, both of which closes the game even if i've tried deleting all files and re-downloading GTA V multiple times... can anyone help me? (please note that no other mods has been downloaded when i have been trying to fix this problem, i had some mods last year, but they're gone so that's not the issue)
