If you go back in time, you will realise only the VE/VF commodore era were were Australian designed, even the VE looks like a smooth VZ.

Although, Australia's  Cruze was built here and had a slightl redesign.

The later VE motor and VF motor was designed (and made, I believe? Unsure.) by Opel. its all GM, but Opel is like the European Holden/Chev, and rarely did we see different branches of GM work together like that.

I don't mind it as a car but as a police vehicle, not a fan. As a Holden/Commodore, doesn't fit in.

 

Best police vehicles were the VE's. They had a real predatory look to them.

This years focus has a more muscly-mustang front end than this concept one.

Ive almost got enough for a Series 2 SIDI VE SV6, If I had enough money, I'd definitely be going for a VF. The front end makes me weak, the rear end is eh, seen that on a Camry.

Wouldn't get a VE. Had one for about 3 years, driving home from work one day, check engine light came on. Gave me about... 600m then the engine died. Heard of it happening a few times, apparently they just don't go like they used to. (the old Holden taxi engine)

 

Got a Toyota Kluger now and I've done about 250,000km since 2010 and it's going like a pro.

Hmm, don't know what is wwrong with your VE, I own a VEII 2012 Omega Ex-Copper and it runs like a charm. It just clocked 205,000km and it runs perfectly. I seervice it every 3 months :P. On topic though, I think the livery fits the new "Commodore" well.

I'm particular and only use my own skins =\ dunno why, it's just a weird quirk. Even if mine aren't as good I'll use them over others. >_>

Same with vehicles but that's more cause I use my own retarded brand of callsigns - regardless of the state, it'll have a WAPol callsign - nostalgia from my days in the job over there, I guess.

Maybe you got lucky... or I got unlucky - I suppose you only ever hear the bad stories. =p
