GTAV Update Issues

Featured Replies

Alright, since I know information is key, I am going to start from the beginning...

So a few weeks ago when the new Rage Plugin Hook came out, I updated it. For some reason whenever that updates, my files go corrupt and I have to uninstall my GTAV. It's a pain, but I deal with it. That is not the issue I'm having, really. Anyways, so I uninstalled it and reinstalled the game, no issues. But I go to start the game and it has to update which is expected. All the other times I have done this I haven't had any issues except this time. But it'll update approximately about 20MB and then stop and say "Connection to download servers lost. Reconnecting..."

So about ever 5 seconds it would do that, stay there for a second and then start back over 20MBs ago. A little back story. The only times I have installed the game was in America. Right now I am forward deployed and in a different country, but still have good internet that isn't slow. I've attempted to "Run as Administrator" and only got the same results. Would you think this has something to do with where I'm at? Should I try reinstalling the game? Anything helps at this point. I just want to play LSPDFR....

***UPDATE***

Finally after a couple minutes of attempting to update it'll just do this...

***UPDATE WITH DISPOSITION***

So I figured it out. Basically what I would have to do is pause the download for a few minutes and just resume it and it would download fine.
