ENB Problem with Specific ENBs

Featured Replies

Recently I have reinstalled Windows 7 and Grand Theft Auto IV on my computer. I went to install EyeCandy V6 and after launching the game it "crashes on startup". (I put the quotations because I don't get an error message) The game will begin to run and a window will open up and then close instantly, nothing more. Wondering if it was my copy of the game or the ENB I ran the game without an ENB and it boots just fine. Since it was not the ENB I decided to try out a different one, this time I installed CryEnb V3, the same thing happened. I decided to try another ENB, this time going with EyeCandy V3. This time EyeCandy V3 worked and booted with the game. Which leads me to believe something is not working right on my computer when it comes to the newer ENBs. Does anyone know a possible fix? I really want to run EyeCandy V6!

Thanks for the help! I went to the website and read about the requirements and it said "if game won't start with modification and display error message, download DirectX Runtime from microsoft.com web site, they are not exist in system only for those users, who did not update DirectX several years or did clear installation of OS recently"

I googled and installed DirectX Runtime and now it works!
