UK Police Sirens [Problem]

Featured Replies

So I'm trying to change the game's sirens to the UK version by Double Doppler but the game keeps reverting to it's original one and me and other people who are having the same problem have told him but he doesn't bother doing anything about it!

I've tried all the ideas everyone says and the same thing keeps happening.

All we want is the siren pack updated so the game won't change back, please, it's not to much to ask for.

Any solutions anyone?

In OpenIV go to mods\x64\audio\sfx\RESIDENT.rpf

In edit mode, right click on Vehicles.awc and choose Export to open formats.

Export it to somewhere you can find the two exported files (a vehicles folder and a vehicles.oac)

Next, go to Dopplers downloaded siren file (itd be easier if already unzipped) where there are the same two files, the vehicles folder and a vehicles.oac. go into the folder and select all the files, and copy them.

Go into the vehicles folder you extracted via OpenIV just now and paste the files you just copied, choosing yes to overwrite them.

Now go to OpenIV and right click on some white space in the main window (making sure your still at mods\x64\audio\sfx\RESIDENT.rpf ) and choose Import Openformats

Navigate to the just updated vehicles folder and a vehicles.oac and select the vehicles.oac and import it.

Done

I've done this before. Doppler needs to update the mod files.
