game will start but lcpdfr won't

i did i dianostics test on it and these are the results 

[System dependencies] Failed to resolve MSVCP100.dll from C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto IV\GTAIV\SLIMDX.DLL

[Log Check] asilog.txt lists failed load: 0x00000000

I do believe this can be fixed by installing the VC++ Redistributables from Microsoft. If your using a 64-bit operating system you need to download the x64 AND x86 versions.

Thank you for the help but this hasn't worked, is there anything else you would recommend trying?
