I came across a temp. fix for the retail copy. it works if you backed everything up.1 if you haven't already revert back. 2 disconnect from net. 3 launch rage. 4 when gta launcher pops ups up it will say no connection select offline mode. 5 reconnect to net so rage can do its thing. i did this and everything runs fine. offline mode will prevent gta from updating
