Last night, a Michigan State Police trooper was shot in Flint MI while attempting to help someone in an altercation. He was shot in the abdomen, is okay, and was released from the hospital about three hours after he arrived. I work with a group in my area called Flint Police Operations, and we post scanner traffic on facebook. Last night, we went and pulled the actual audio from the shooting, and I thought that some of you might want to hear it, especially since you can hear the officer very clearly say several times "I've been shot". It's eerie to hear and to think about it.
