Cops Theme Song

Featured Replies

Currently I am using a Cops Theme Song for my loading screen.. I was wondering if anyone could make a better quality version, it's not as loud as I would like it to be.. as far as I can tell, there isn't a way of turning it up.. I've tried even turning up my speakers..I am using the one from https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/cops-theme-song-on-loading-screen

Maybe my wife is right and I am just hard of hearing.

Thanks in advance.

Well it sounds perfectly good on the YouTube video on that page, but it doesn't sound that loud when added into x64/audio/sfx/PROLOGUE.rpf    ...during the loading screen. If I knew how to code, I would just make a new one.. Unless something like that isn't very difficult to code.. I would give it a try..

I believe you. but it sounds ok In the video. try re-installing it.

Maybe it is quiet but I have young ears. im only 15 :P

Yeah I reinstalled it 2 times just in case.. its strange because in the video it sounds perfectly loud and normal... When the game is on the loading screen, its not as loud.. I'm going to keep at this... maybe I can find a tutorial on creating my own.. Thanks for the advice anyways.

Sorry I couldn't be helpful

nah man it's okay I'll live..

Looked at the mod. I think all you need to do is open the .OAC file that comes with it (td_loading_music.oac - in a text editor) and you will see each .wav file listed with a "Gain XXX". Adjust the Gain to a higher number until it's loud enough for you (I would try increments of 50-100). Anytime you edit the .OAC file you'll need to reimport with OpenIV.

Thanks Kilyin, I will try that out I will make several copies with varying increments on the outside first and then bring it back one at a time testing each one until I find the best one and rebuild.? I always rebuild, not sure if its a must..but I do it anyways.

I don't know if you need to rebuild, I tend to not do that, but if it doesn't mess anything up, go for it.
