OpenIV ASI Loader Problem

Hey Everyone, Hoping one of you can shed some light on my problem.

Basically when I install the OpenIV ASI Loader "Dinput8.dll" my game crashes every time I load it up. I already have a Mods folder and all that in place so I know that's not the problem I think. Also I have 10 or so Plugins installed and they all work completely fine when I don't have the ASI Loader installed. However as soon as I put it in game it crashes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Kind Regards,

Perhaps you have a modified version of for example the gameconfig, which was edited in a later update by Rockstar. This will cause your game to crash. You could try to backup your mods folder, remove every item in it, and try booting GTA V again.

Did someone say countdown?

Hey Thanks NoCountdown, unfortunately doing what you said didn't fix my game, although I have now discovered that it is not the OpenIV ASI Loader "Dinput8.dll" that is my problem. I have found that through the process of removing and then adding back my mods folder and its contents that the "Updates" folder that I have copied into the folder is causing the problem, without my updates folder in the mods folder my game works fine with some modded vehicles and sound, just nothing in the updates folder. Hopefully that makes sense.

Kind Regards,

That is due to a modified older version of the file which is not supported in the newer version of GTA V anymore. I would suggest to delete all of your mods, and try to install them again with the up to date files in the "Updates" folder.

Got it all sorted now, thanks.
