Car File Locations

Featured Replies

I installed a few car mods and I put it in the folder locations specified in the readme. What I'm wondering is why does there seem to be so many places to install the vehicles? I went into another folder, patchday3.ng, and it still had the default models. Yet in the game it has the new files that i put into a different location. Can anyone explain this system to me? it is just seems very confusing compared to GTA IV.

some cars have more locations example the sherrif vehicles have location in the 3 dlcs and one x64e file

The best you can doe is put in the OPEN IV SEARCH BOX, Put the vehicle moddel.

Go to Update >> x64 >> dlcpacks

search the vehicle to remplace or modific in this files:

patchday1ng

patchday2ng

patchday3ng

patchday4ng

ONE EXAMPLE TO REMPLACE MI Police2 Vehicle witht another mod, or another texture i put the files in:

x64e in the vehicles.rpf

and in the:

patchday1ng in the file vehicles.rpf

and

patchday3ng in the file vehicles.rpf

and the cars is see in the game, if you remplace the file in only one location for some reason you see the vanilla car in the game.

So pleas, search in that locations, and remplace.
