visual c++ problem

Recommended Posts

hi all,

i have the following problem with LCPDFR. When in game, and pressing alt+P, nothing happens. i followed the sticky and tried all the steps, watched the how to video, and ran the diagnostics tool. The diagnostic tool reports (see report below) that visual c++ 2010 isn't installed, however i have got it installed. both the x86 and the x64 versions. both downloaded from links provided by moderators on this forum. I have tried using both at the same time, and one by one, in every case the diagnostics doesn't reckognise the c++ install. When i went and installed the LCPDFR version .95, the check in the beginning said everything was installed correctly.

i have also tried the suggestion of changing between the dsound.dll and the xlive.dll, no change.

i can get in the basic trainer no problem, and the rest of the game runs stable and fine.

i run windows 7 64bit pro version in the dutch language, legal registred version as well as a legal copy of GTA4. No other mods or vehicles are installed and the very first mission in gta4 completed! ( finished the game before on xbox but wanted to try this mod so got it on pc as well)
