Hey guys, as the title suggests I'm posting here the plugins I'd like to see converted into 0.2.

With several new additions to 0.2, we can expect some plugin functions to become useless from a certain point, but since nothing was mentioned in the 3 previews we got to see from 0.2, here is my list of plugins that I think are a MUST in being converted into 0.2:

Police Radio by FinKone - http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/7866-plate-checker-pit-request-barrier-police-radio-early-version-002/ (0.2 will now come with its own ANPR and database so probably FinKone will merge his plugin within LSPDFR database itself, instead of having his own database, but the tow truck, coroner and pit request functions are definitely a must-have)

Breathalyzer by qwerasdzxc - http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/7892-breathalyzer/ (perhaps a feature to be added in future versions for traffic stops but as of 0.2 probably is still not available, so this plugin would do the work as to help you catch people who just drank too much at the LS nightclubs)

Speed Radar by Straysify - http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/7789-speed-radar/ (a speed radar is always needed to catch speedsters on the highways! 0.2 probably won't have a speed radar yet so this one is also a must, especially for SAHP roleplay. This plugin comes with flags so having them merged with LSPDFR database flags would be great!)

Spikes Barrier by alexguirre - http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/7864-spikes-barrier/ (a great way to stop chases from escataling too quickly, this plugin will make you catch fleeing suspects much more quickly and adds realism into the game, if not implemented in 0.2, this one is also a must!)

More Control V by LukeD -  http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/7873-morecontrolv/ (really good plugin to have full control of our police vehicle, so definitely a must to be converted into 0.2)

Vehicle Search by FtDLulz - http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/7894-vehicle-search-search-the-trunks-of-vehicles/ (great plugin to add more variety to traffic stops, but as versions come, this might as well be implemented into LSPDFR itself. I don't know if 0.2 will have this already or not, but most likely future versions will. This plugin also comes with flags so if it also merged with LSPDFR own database would be awesome!)

 

I don't have any siren, texture or ped modifications as I like to keep things vanilla, I think it's more realistic in terms of GTA universe.

I agree with just about everything on this list. Put as far as things being converted in LSPDFR 0.2 that doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Especially since almost all of these run of ragehook, including LSPDFR 0.2.

Yeah, it will only be confusing and unrealistic to have 2 license plate checkers (LSPDFR 0.2 and Police Radio's) and 3 ways of getting flags (LSPDFR, Speed Radar and Police Radio). If all of these could just be put into a single database, that would be the best! Let's hope it's possible.

However, when it comes to the Breathalyzer and Vehicle Search, these 2 aren't really flags as one just says how much alcohol a person has in its blood (I don't even think it identifies the person's name or not) and the other just says what's found on a vehicle's trunk so it doesn't really interfer with the current Speed Radar and Police Radio's flags nor will interfer with the future flags of LSPDFR 0.2, unless 0.2 also has a vehicle search function. This is something they want to add but no one has mentioned it would be in 0.2 already. Maybe in other future versions.

And as they all use RAGE Plugin Hook, let's hope it's possible to make the plugins work with each other and avoid having multiple databases and flags!

We will only know if that's possible when LSPDFR 0.2 is released though, and after the plugins' authors decide whether or not to convert their plugins into the newest version, stripping functionalities as they are put into LSPDFR 0.2 itself and using LSPDFR 0.2's database, instead of creating their own as they did to 0.1e.

Another mod I'd like to see in LSPDFR 0.2 itself would be alexguirre's Spotlight mod!
