When I try to load GTA IV from steam I get a message saying "The instruction at 0x6e7c1060 referenced memory at 0x6ec1060. The memory could not be written" Click on OK to terminate the program.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times

I've done the verify file thing from steam

I have no idea what is wrong.

 

What type of computer are you trying to run it on? Also, what's your computers specs? 

Steam may be trying to locate free hard disk space so make sure you have at least 90GB of hard disk space available. If that doesn't work and you get a different error please reply to this post.
